Leicester

The weather has got more and more cold these days. I have stayed here for about ten months, this is my first winter in Leicester.

I think Leicester is an international city in the UK, because there are many Indian, Chinese and others. You can see different faces when you walk in the street, which is interesting.

Leicester is in the middle of England, so this city has good transport, for example, you can go to Birmingham or London in a short time by train.

There are many Chinese restaurants in Leicester, you can enjoy the different Chinese food in the different restaurants. Shanghai Moon is a good restaurant which is good at Guangdong dishes. Afternoon tea is the most famous dishes in Shanghai Moon, you can see a lot of Chinese have their afternoon tea during the the afternoon. Except that, Hongdenglong is a very good restaurant as well. Because this restaurant is good at Sichuan dishes, so their dishes are always spicy and hot. You can go to there to have a big dinner if you like Sichuan dishes. I can not account every Chinese restaurants in Leicester, most of these are good.

My Favourite Restaurant

My favourite restaurant is ‘Shanghai Moon’ in Leicester. The first reason is that the restaurant is easy to find out. It’s in the High Street of city centre. Secondly, the environment of this restaurant is clean and comfortable. It always play old Chinese music. The next reason I like it because their service is good, the waiter always keep smile with you. And the prices are reasonable, you can taste real Chinese food there. But if you want to taste afternoon tea, you had better don’t be late, because if you miss the time of afternoon tea, you will plus 1 pond every dishes. The most important reason is the food is very delicious, it’s famous for the afternoon tea. You can choose your favourite from many different styles of food. In summary, ‘Shanghai Moon’ is the best restaurant that worth to taste in Leicester.

basketball

I have a long time no play basketball. I learn in university in China for tow years, and then decide to go abroad. I am a player of basketball in university.

I like playing basketball for a long time when I am in the high school. I always play basketball with my classmates in sport class, so when I learn in the university I join in the basketal team. Our university hold competition every year, our team win 8 play and we are so happy to get the success.

Basketball is not very popular in UK, but football is very famous in here. I always see many people play football in the park.

No matter basketball or football, there are all sports. People do more sport, their health will get more better.

sad vacation

'Sad vacation' is a Japanese film about a driver abandon by his mother, he decide to retaliate his mother when he meet her in a chance.

He has happy day before with a little boy who was abandon by his mother too, so he konw the boy's feeling and sympathize with him. He think he wiil live with the little boy forver and never think about he will meet his mother. One day, he drive his customer to go home, suddendly, he saw his mother in the customer's home , and then remember the address. He plan a way to retaliate her but when the plan was successed, he feel regretto do this.

Anyway, the family is the most important thing in our heart.

chaffy dish

Chaffy dish is very popular in China, but I can't eat it as usual. I bring a boiler to eat chaffy dish from China in holiday.

Most people like spicy chaffy dish, you can put into meat, vegetable, toufu and so on. They cooked together and when it cooked. You had better eat it with sause. It is very delicious . Tonight my friends and me eat chaffy dish together, we buy the meat, vegetable, sauce in the Chinese market. It have a lot of fun to cook it by yourself and everyone wiil feel happy. Because when we want to eat chinese chaffy dish, we can cook it by ourselves.

bad day

What a bad day!!!I left my key in my own room that I can not enter it.
I go back home and very happy to walk with my friend when the class is over. I get to my home soon but I can not find out my key...I am so worry that I can not enter my room, and the most important thing is I must to take my economics book to go to school. Luckly, I have my friend's key, so I use her key and go to her room. In the afetr noon I have no book to study the economic and I always think about my key, so I can not pay attention to my class. Now I have no place to stay and will plan sleep with my feiend...
Maybe I should ask my accommodation conservator how to open my door...

new umbrella

I have no umbrella yesterday because I can not find it, so I take the taxi to go to school all day...
I go to city center to by a umbrella today... England has so much rian that everyone have umbrella. My new umbrella's colour is pink with the design of little cats, the reason of I like it is the box. Umbrella lie in the pink box and the box like the spectacles case.
I really like my new umbrella...

sometimes

I feel lonely in England sometimes. I miss my family, friends, food and my little dog. Living in fremdness, the strange language, the strange culture, the strange life habit... Walking in the street and look at the people, I have no belonging...

Even though I make new friends in England and I am very happy with them, but I feel lonely when I go back home. I do not like stay by myself, but the accommodation of England just have single room. So when I go home no one talk to me , I face to the mirror talk to myself sometimes. I like the environment in England, it is more cleaner than China and the air is more fresh...

But I really want to go to my hometown sometimes...

where is the summer

It is more three monthes I stay in England, the weather is strange for me. It always rain and the sunshine is few. Even I can not feel the season has changed.

My hometown is in the north of china, the weather of my hometown is different from England. In fact when I go back to China for the holiday I can feel the summer will be coming and the weather get warmer and warmer.

How about in England? I have the same feeling for a long time that I can not feel the summer is coming, it is cool. Today rains allday, the most bad thing is I could not find out my unbrella. It is a little terible...

lost weight

Summer will be coming, I went to city center to buy some clothes. There were so many beautiful clothes but the clothes I tried on looked not very good...
Weight was my problem, you konw, I am fatter than other people when I was a child and I was never jimpness. I did my best to lost weight at one time, but they were all fail. Lost weight need perseverance, I always give up when I am hungry.As everyone know lost weight need to do exercise and eat less. Sometimes to be beautiful need to pay expence.
So I start to lost weight from today and bless it is will be come ture

Tired

I feel a little tired in the new term, because I need to do more homework and wake up earlier than last term.

Sometimes I can not pay my attention in the class when I feel tired. I sit in the library now and finished my honework here. In the library I can pay attention to do the homework, because of the environment of studing. If in my home I always surf in the internet during I do my homework, so it will waste my time.

I feel a little tired today...

how to get there?

I went to shopping after class today with my friend. We bought a lot of food and drink and it's too heavy to us, so we book a taix to go home.

"I want to go to xxx street." my friend told to the driver."Okey!" side by the driver. And then he asked us"Do you know how to go to the xxx street?" "Sorry?" We can't believe that the driver do not how to go to that place, we asked again."Sorry, I don't konw how to go to there..."the driver said. My friend told him how to go to the xxx street and left me in the car because we live in the different place. "Do you konw the Grange Lane?" I asked him that because I’m not sure he konw it. "Yes, sure." My home is next my friend's home, so I thought I will arrive my home in a short time. I played my phone after I asked him, when I put up my head I was very very wonder. He dirved the opposite aspect to my home! " Are you sure you know how to go to the Grange Lane? It's on the worry way." "Oh!! I'm so sorry, can you guide me to do to there?" “Ok, I will show you how to get there..."

I spent a lot of time to go home and maybe not every taxi driver know all of the road. It's a little funny and unbelieveing to me today.

surprise

I went to my friend's home today after the class was over. She is live in Nixon now and this accommodation is my first place to live in England, even though I just live there for two days.

Why that event surprised me? She live in the same building, same floor and same room which I live there for two days! I was so happy to see my housemate in nixon again. Because when I arrived Leicester I had no one friend and my english was very poor, I felt so bad when I was longly. My housemate told me where to buy food, talked with me, even if lead me to get my key in the very cold evening with a little clothes. I felt very genial at that time.

The biggest harvest is seeing my housemate again today.

the new term

Today is the first day to go to school in the new term. I had went my hometown in the holiday.I saw my friends again and I felt so happy.

But I have not pass my language exam,so I must work hard in the new term.I think writting is the most important part I should improved.Listening and speaking is important for me as well. Maybe speak with local people is a good idea to learn english, it will help me to learn the most genuine language. I had better to go to library when the class is over to do my homework and do some review. The words is my problem to learn english because I always don't understand the meaning of the word, so remember the words everyday is very important.

In the new term I have a lot of thing to do to improve my english skill and I will do my best to pass the exam.
